e are a community-driven outdoor website and provide walks free of cars and free of charge. Every one of our walks can be reached using public transport - bus and train, coach and ferry.
Each quarter we enter everyone who submits a car-free walk to our website into a prize draw to win some goodies.
For the July to September 2018 prize draw we are giving away a Car Free Walks goodie bag to the value of around £100.To be entered for the draw, register here (if you haven't already), then click on submit a walk and follow the steps to add your route to the database.
One walking highlight of last year was the blissful day spent among the bluebells and tors of Dartmoor's eastern flanks. With the Haytor Hoppa service running again this summer, I was looking forward to returning to my stomping grounds of old.
We are very excited to link up with Good Journey, a new initiative to encourage and support the use of public transport to attractions and activities across the UK.Nat Taplin, the director of Good Journey, tells us more about what they’re doing.
